Mannequins Coming and Going

Depending on your circumstances, you may find that your mannequins are visible from more than one direction or that the garment imprint doesn't show in a face-on presentation.  With these simple kids mannequins, GAP shows off the front and back of the garments.  I love the attention to detail with the layered tees and the icing on the cake - SHOES! 

That's one of my pet peeves that I see a lot in college stores: mannequins without shoes.  Buy some cheap shoes for your mannequins, puh-lease.  If you're not sure about size, simply measure the foot in inches and then Google "shoe size in inches" and you'll find charts to help you.  A simple ballet flat for your girl mannequins and an athletic shoe for your guys.  Go a size or two too big just to be sure the shoe will slide onto the foot angle.  For girl mannequin feet, which are sometimes at an angle, attach Velcro fasteners to the bottom of the foot and to the inside of the shoe to keep the shoe in place.
